Default Psoriasis liver cleanse and general detox programs?

my girlfriend has had psoriasis or a similar skin problem for about 4 years now on her chest and face. what should we do about cleansing her liver?
a bottle of pills to take daily or perhaps the Renew Life Liver Detox program that's so expensive....though i've read lots of negative reviews on it.
she drinks red clover and a skin detox tea daily which seems to be helping, but we'd really like to do a major system flush if there's something available.

also, i'm a woodworker and i've been doing a lot of metalwork lately...been around lots of chemicals. my energy levels have slowly decreased since i started metalworking a year ago. i also wake up with headaches every morning and pain behind my eye through the day. i take NAC, chlorophyl, and fish oil daily and cilantro before bed like hildegard. i'd also like to do a full detox program. is something like the Nature's Secret Ultimate Cleanse i've seen in the store all these years something i should try?

also, i'm not against homebrewing the herbs etc. if there's some good recipes to follow. we're taking a vacation in a couple weeks and i thought it would be a good time to get cleaned out.

thanks for any advice,
spit

I had psoriasis and it is now gone through mega dosing on vitamin D3.

Regarding your metals issue.... you seem to be willing to sacrifice a lot for this job.. Are you doing all that you can to protect yourself from these metals entering your body? The signs you are presenting with daily is not a good sign. How many times are you going to put your body though this? Do you intend to have children?

Hi spit, welcome. Two herbal tinctures that are known for cleansing and supporting the liver are dandelion root and milk thistle.

Quote:
It is vital to consume lots of water, with lemon is ideal, and
get fresh air to flush these toxins out of your system.

Dandelion Root: Dandelion Root can be made into a bitter tea (don't sweeten it,
the bitterness is how it works you'll get use to it) as an excellent tonic for
the liver and blood purifier. Dandelion roots are very high in vitamins and
minerals. The common dandelion is an unusually nutritious food. Its leaves
contain substantial levels of vitamins A, C, D, and B complex as well as iron,
magnesium, zinc, potassium, manganese, copper, choline, calcium, boron, and
silicon. Worldwide, the root of the dandelion has been used for the treatment of
a variety of liver and gallbladder problems. Other historical uses of the root
and leaves include the treatment of breast diseases, water retention, digestive
problems, joint pain, fever, and skin diseases. The most active constituents in
dandelion appear to be eudesmanolide and germacranolide, substances unique to
this herb.

Milk Thistle: Milk Thistle is the best in cleaning our blood and liver and is a
traditional way to get our health back on track and revitalize and nourish our
entire internal ecological system from the ravages of winter. Milk Thistle is an
excellent cleansers for the liver. Cleansing is one of the more important roles
of Milk Thistle as it helps to prevent a host of problems our bodies can acquire
from internal and external toxic overload.
