I saw a TV info-commerical program for the 7 Day Miracle Cleanse program. The program talked the need for a parasite and colon cleanse.

At the bottom of the TV screen, there was a scrolling "ticker" with words like:

"Cow's milk is for baby calves"

"Human mother's milk is for baby infants"

"50% of people with allergies have a negative re-action toward dairy products"

This cleanse stuff is totally useless. It is based on theories about humors that have been proven false 100 years ago.

Considering the quality of the show, why would we care?

It was on TV, so it must be true? Is that what you're claiming? Even though it was part of an ad for a quack therapy?

I saw the George Foreman Grill advertised on Television. It works. And, I bought one at Wal-Mart. So, what is your point, Dork?

I saw this ad too. I asked my sister about it and she told me about someone she knows that tried one just like it. He had his wife watch to find out if anything came out or not. She said she saw a big dead worm come out. GROSS!

Is it true that we have parasites and a coating from toxins in our colon? I'd like to know if this is true and if someone has had results from this stuff or not. If it is true, why haven't we heard of anyone being prescribed for a cure from a medical doctor?

I don't know about this miracle cleanse product but I can tell you that yes it is true that some people do have parasites, and sometimes LARGE parasites in their intestines. Toxins will also adhere to the intestinal walls, and even of greater concern is that toxins will lodge in the intestinal wall itself, imbedded in cells and other extracellular materials of tissue.

Many years ago I was a colonic therapist. I saw first hand what can come out of people and yes I saw parasites, mucous ropes 10 plus feet long, flakes of black stuff, seeds and popcorn kernals eates many months previously.

The reason that we don't hear about it is first of all is that the medical establishment is in denial They receive no training in detoxification and parasite disease so for them the possibility does not exist.

These days the term parasites encompasses more than just worms, but can also be flukes and a multitude of microscopic microbes. Any other living organism that lives in you is a parasite, and that would include staph, strep, yeast, viruses, all the acidolophus bacterias etc. There are many many. Some good and many bad.
