Oh gosh! What a huge loss saved. You've spent a lot of energy taking care of him. Your love and devotion is obvious. You are a wonderful son to take care of your parents like that. May he rest in peace. My religion teaches that our spiritual station continues to evolve in the spiritual world as we get closer and closer to God. May it give you peace to pray each day for that progress to continue.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is those who are left behind that have the worse of this deal.

WHAT THE CATERPILLAR CALLS THE END OF THE WORLD, THE MASTER CALLS A BUTTERFLY.

The ICU doc was a total bitch. She ignore me for 45 minutes and when I asked her, can I leave for 5 hrs (had to get back home for little bit, will he be ok) she said yes, but no sympathy and when she called me with the news she just said "he is passing away right now" and ended the conversation.

That doesn't make is any easier, unfortunately you didn't have a caring person involved, that would've helped ease the pain.

Another problem with western medicine is they are too compartmentalized and not holistic at all.

So sorry to hear that. You have been taking care of your dad as best as you or anyone could. May he rest in peace.

i often thought when I read your posts... about the supplements you were giving your dad or some other way that you were helping him, I wonder if his dad knows just how fortunate he is to have such a devoted son that is such a concerned and loving care giver.........I bet he really appreciated you.........
