Default If you could only afford 1-2 supplements, what would they be??

I am aiming for Raw, Organic supplements, but can't afford all that I'd like to get.

What would you buy if you could only afford 2?

Was thinking that Spirulina might be a good one. What do you think??

Thanks

Mindy

Vitamin C and D3 for me, if only two but I guess you would not assume them raw or organic.

Goji Berries and Spirulina or Chlorella.

Iodine and D-3; Most crucial and cheapest too.

Vitamin D is the only one that I feel is really need. Many believe multivitamins are a waste of money for most people who eat healthy and are under 50 years of age.

Default Mrs

I am sure not near enough being that I am hyperthyroid. I'm so overwhelmed just trying to understand what all our human bodies need, how much, what to take together, what NOT to take together. Etc., etc.

How much should one take in one day and what with? Where do you get your info/data that brings you to your conclusions??

Thanks for helpin!

Mindy

Since nobody seems to have the time or energy to eat our required 7-13 servings of fruits and vegetables everyday I would choose an unadulterated whole food supplement. I have years of experience working with alternative therapies. The primary focus of what actually worked were fruits and vegetables in their whole form.

There is a whole food supplement that is the number 1 in research and documentation. They have had amazing results. I would also suggest Celtic Sea Salt. It has over 80 naturally occurring minerals in whole form. Many companies use this salt to extract their isolated minerals, might as well take it fully charged the way nature designed it.

This charged natural salt will help remove deposits of processed table salt associated with a variety of disorders. It is very affordable, I would buy the larger granules and break them down in a mortar and pestle, add some warm water and drink. About a quarter to a half a teaspoon. Helps with a whole host of issues including sleep when taken at bedtime. Make sure you drink a reasonable amount of water with it and during the day.

Glad to share any help
Michael

That is basically what I was asking in my thread,
" Really need some guidance... lots of supplements! "

It has 878 views, but very few pointers about what to
and what not to combine...
I'll be sure to let you know if I find a good resource to answer our questions.

Don't take zinc and copper together
Don't take magnesium and calcium together, that's if you supplement calcium. I don't.
Don't take any chelator when you take your minerals or with a meal.
Don't take B-1 with black tea or coffee.

I'm sure there's more.

I disagree with this statement.

Almost all dark green vegetables contain both calcium and magnesium, and most times (in nature) copper and zinc are also found together.

Calcium cannot be absorbed without magnesium, and if you don't supplement with calcium you will end up with arthritis, osteoperosis, hypertention, kidney stones, bone and heel spurs, calcium deposits, gingivitis, low back pain, cramps and twitches, etc...

Taking this or that is fine, but won't prevent deficiency in what you don't take. Therefore, besides a good diet, you need all essential vitamins and minerals. (and fatty acids)
