Default Wife is Always Nauseous When She Takes Vitamins

She has always gotten nauseous when she takes vitamins.

Right now she only takes vitamin d3 (drops...vitamin shoppe brand). She takes about 4-5000 UI with food (usually yogurt).

Why do you think this is?

My fisrt guess it that there is a toxic conditon regarding her stomach and digestive process.. This is not at all normal not being able to take vitamins although some people do have a hard time with large amounts of pills in general.

You may want to try liquid vitamins.. this company has some good products.
www.reachforlife.com If a full dose makes her stomach upset reduce the dosage and take more frequently.

She may need a good detox protocol

How can we tell if its her digestive system?
the vitamin right now that makes her nauuseous is a liquid form of vitamin D3.

as far as her diet....she eats a good amount of stonyfield yogurt with probiotics.

Of course it is difficult to tell just by reading, though I would suggest trying probiotics that are not in dairy. There's a great one on the market with a very unique strain (Good Belly). It is grown on oats, no dairy or soy.

Always best, if you are going to supplement, to use food-derived vitamins, and preferably whole food sources, not just extractions of one or two nutrients.

Bee products, like Royal Jelly, are particularly high in B-vitamins.

Probiotics is always a good recommendation when digestive problems are involved, except maybe for Leaky Gut. Just for curiosity, not argument, why do you recommend staying away from dairy based probiotics AllisOne. Of course, I believe the very best would be to make homemade kefir (water kefir could be used) or sauerkraut. My feeling, in regards to dairy based probiotics, is that the bacteria feed off of the lactic acid, so it should not affect someone so badly should they be lactose intolerant. Just a feeling.
