The same scenario can be applied to a human . notice intermediate ......
You can have bacteria and some of your bacteria can be killed by an a certain antibiotic and other bacteria of the same bacteria could be stronger and could not be killed by that same antibiotic. now what if you have an individual who has a bacteria infection but the doctor can not locate it. and the patient is stuck to deal with it on his own. no wonder prostatitis is so hard to kill. if we don't know what we are fighting against. its like
fighting someone in a pitch black room but the opponent has night vision

To bad you can't replace prostates like with heart transplants and kidney transplants. I'd be the first in line for my new prostate

I think I may have to end up seeking a psychiatrist. As I personally find myself unable to cope with this anymore. And am falling deeper into depression

Oh my friend I can understand how you feel are you going to persevere with some kind of regime and see what happens.I would say that quercetin and allicin is certainly a help it is helping me.
Do you have anybody you can talk to who is close.
I cant talk to my wife much about it but I find speaking to my mother about it helps.
I to today thought about a transplant what a coincidence.I was wondering what it would feel like.
I have had this for many years and it never stopped me from doing anything but since january my life has been turned upside down .I used to go to music festivals with my wife drink loads of beer smoke cannabis have good sex.Now I just cant do anything and I am only 42 I am not overweight and fairly fit I eat well.I am even scared of going on a 7 night caravan holiday with my family.
Harry try and be strong..
One thing that has helped me get through the night over the years is a pian killer called co codamol. It seems to relax me as well as give me pian relief. You might be able to buy it over the counter in the us.
I dont take it during the day only about 3 times a week at night if I am in a lot of pain.
Are you emptying your prostate regularly.I have done that always since I started with it.I ejaculate at least 5 times week and it helps me a lot.
Not sure about the massage if you sure not on any medication.
You would think that these medical Gods are looking at our posts and scratching there head thinking we should do something about this.

How many people on here are doing some kind of massage therapy?

Well just an update - turns out I don't have an allergy to the Trim/Sulfa, it's actually the Shingles virus. I tell you my luck lately..............actually I'm happy I'm not allergic cause I can continue taking the Trim/Sulfa as I am definitely feeling much better.

I am surprised that I got shingles - especially since I've been taking at least 4-6 allicinmax a day (for over a month). It's not a heavy case of shingles so maybe it may have helped somewhat -- idk.

I am doing the quercetin/bromelain thing as well as the allicin. I'm also taking 5000ui vitamin d as well as Zinc citrate daily.

I finally feel like I'm beating this but only time will tell.

you stated the following once {{{{{ Yes I can understand what you mean .I have done four weeks of trim at 400mg a day. I have dropped it down to 100mg twice a day along with the other things .I go on holiday in five weeks.I will se what happens then.}}}}}}

are you noticing any improvement with the trim ?

I seem to have gone down over the ast few days not sure its because I dropped the dose of trim down .
My urine stream has gone very low and I feel like shit at times hot sweaty and then I feel washed out and feel I need to lie down for a couple of hours.
I am going to give this a good trial but I mean in three months there has to be some improvement or it is just not good enough.
I know what people mean when they talk about the itching at the end of there penis.I had that years ago and I got rid of it for a few days.

Interesting you should say those things. I'm pretty sure iwillbecured
mentioned there came a point in his treatment where he had slow urination and he started sweating a lot and feeling ran down. I believe he said this is where you want to be at. maybe he can comment on this.
I'd stick with it if you can handle it . it may be something like when a child gets sick the child gets hotter and hotter and symptoms get worse then out of nowhere BOOM the fever breaks and he is on his way to back normal.

Stay cooled off with strong fan or air conditioner and get some rest and drink yourself some good water to stay hydrated ...and if you can stay with this you may be right in the eye of the storm and your body getting ready to push you on out of it

@HarryCrumb

I am not sure if that is the case .I am not building my hopes at all.
The only thing I can say is that the infection does not seem resistant to trim and allicin. Well mine anyway.
I am taking ten allicin a day and its not cheap its costing around 50 a month plus the other enzymes but if I was to get rid of it, it would be worth every penny.

(MY WISH ) If I won the lottery

wish I could win the lottery right now so i could try to buy my way out of this. I bet if i scratched a doctors back and gave him $25,000 in cash. he would scratch my back and let me have shots of anything I want or IV. sure would be nice to be rich. or I'd fly in my private plane to one of those foreign countries where you can get antibiotics over the counter. or find me wanna those doctors that does prostate injection .........then when I'm cured I would set up my own clinic and call it "The prostatitis institute" and hire the best urologists money could buy and of course I
would be a urologist there. and I would take everything I have learned from the internet all of the medical research as well as the information from individuals on websites like this and apply all of that for better treatment. I would have multi shots of many different antibiotics and even conduct shot therapy for those who fail antibiotic pills. even prostate injections. and alternative therapy for those who respond to no antibiotics at all. and I would try to keep injections and shot therapy cheap as i can and work with the patients instead of telling them go else where its all in your head. would be nice wouldn't it to actually see some thing like that set up and people cured

I've wasted around $2,000 now on doctors and none of it amounted to nothing

HarryCrumb, your just reminded me to play on the lottery today. If I win I'll give you enough money to invest in that project

I have some embarassing bad news: I think I've damaged my prostate 2 days ago during a prostate massage. I was getting impacient and felt the left lobe of this gland to be more stiff than the right, so I massaged that part vigorously, and in the end there was a bit of blood on the glove. Not much though.
The thing is that yesterday and today I'm feeling constant pain coming from the left side which I massaged.
From what I read, it's possible to tear the rectum lining or prostate small veins, and it should heal by itself within a week. Hell, even prostate biopsy heals within a month. I'm going to take a break from prostate massages now and let it heal.

If I can ignore this pain that is coming from injury, I can feel my prostate/pelvic symptoms to be improving. No more "clogged feeling" down there. Even I've been having orgasms regularly and I'm not feeling so bad nowadays.
I'm on the 23th day of doxycycline, and in 9 days I might change to Bactrim.
I do feel prostate massages have been helping a lot, but I think I've just discovered where the line is and how much pressure it can take

Sounds like you have taken lots of antbioctics have you ever took'em for a long term like three months?? I have always had clean cultures never any bacteria found but I refuse to think that this just happens got to be some type of infection maybe a virus have never had a culture for a virus that's next
