Default Magnesium absorption

Have heard that total cell magnesium deficiency may be part of the whole fibromyalgia picture. I have tried taking oral magnesium supplements and they seem to just cause GI upset/distress. Many sources say that we only absorb around 20% when taking magnesium orally anyway. Could it be absorbed dermally? There is a company advertising <product name removed>. It is topical spray or adding to a hot water foot bath. Any insite?

Use magnesium citrate and not magnesium oxide. The citrate absorbs much easier. Also split the dose into 2 or 3 throughout the day.

Magnesium oil can be found much cheaper than that company you're harking. It can even be made cheaply.

Interesting about the fibromyalgia though.
