Default About magnesium

This video is Italian, I believe, and dubbed in English but I found it very interesting with new facts about magnesium. It is posted on Mark Sircus's You Tube channel.

Hi Nightowl! Thanks for the video, I haven't watched it yet because I have dial-up and they take forever to load. I've been thinking about you lately, and wondered if you were feeling any better. I see your 'mood' has changed to relaxed, so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

This guy knows what he is talking about when it comes to magnesium, right down to the fact that the soil is depleted of magnesium. He is also correct when he states magnesium deficiency causes calcification of joints and arteries.
Most people get/take too much calcium and not enough magnesium. The calcium ends up in the soft tissue, such as arteries, since this is the same as being magnesium deficient.
Good video!

Hi kind2creatures! Actually I'm about the same....hanging in there...but I figured everyone was probably tired of hearing me complain so was giving you a break. I've had to turn my oxygen concentrator up a little to 7.5 liters from 5, and that bothers me. Also the redness and swelling from edema on both feet and legs is stubborn and nothing I do seems to make much difference. I heard a perfect description of my symptoms the other day which is leading me to believe it may have more to do with cardiovascular disease than respiratory, but is most likely a combination of the two.

I do a lot of reading about minerals like magnesium, sodium bicarbonate, potassium and calcium because of the side affects of the diuretic drugs I have to take for the edema. One medication played with the kidneys and storage of sodium. But I can't retain what I read very well now. I just started using Nascent iodine with distilled water in my nebulizer yesterday, so we'll see how that goes. My mouth is so dry from diuretics all day and especially when I wake up in the morning.

Well, anyhow, I'm still here! Thanks for asking about me.

Don't be silly Nightowl, nobody here needs a break, and it's not complaining, it's sharing. Sorry your still having such problems with your edema, wish there was something I could suggest to help. Hopefully there isn't anything too serious going on with your heart either.

Glad you're still here, always good to hear from you. Take good care of yourself, and keep us updated!

I was at a natural foods community dinner 10 yrs ago and was sitting next to a chiropractor who practiced nutrition. He said the problem with organic foods was that they along with all veggies/fruits are mineral deficient due to the soil being overused. Perhaps the native americans were 100% correct in using dead fish as fertilizer.

This chiropractor was right. The soil, in general, is overused, but more than that, its the pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers that are doing most of the damage to the soil.

Glyphosate, the active ingredient in roundup, is the worst of the worst.

True organic gardeners add composted plants and food scraps, straw and leaves back into the soil that have natural nutrients. What you find in stores marked as organic cannot be depended upon.

Pinballdoctor, I have to laugh when I see weed-killer commercials where they spray chemicals on weeds growing in cracks of the sidewalk....I've done just as well with salt water.
