HFCS=overweight. If you just eliminate drinks, soups, sauces with high fructose corn syrup from your diet you can reduce your body fat significantly. HFCS slows metablosim, cannot be utilized by your body so just becomes fat, and even slows down your mental processes causing fatigue, lethargy, and mental confusion similar to over-indulging in alcoholic beverages. It's a damn poison that should be illegal

I was at a store that I hadn't been to for a long time and a worker there had lost a ton of weight. I asked him what he did and the ONLY change he made was stop drinking soda pop. He lost 30 lbs. :shock:

BINGO!!!!

Stop insulin cycling and weight loss is automatic. Low carb is the only way to go! :D

What I hate about so many "Diet and Exercise for Weight Loss" articles;

Controlling cravings is one way to deal with carbohydrate consumption. The other is to stop carbs from being absorbed by the intestinal tract, particularly by interfering with the process that converts starches into readily absorbable sugar.
NO!! JUST DON'T EAT THE CARBS IN THE FIRST PLACE!! WHY IS THAT SO TOUGH TO UNDERSTAND???

It's funny how people often think there is a magic pill or miraculous discovery that will help them lose weight. Losing weight is as simple as wanting to lose weight and eathing well/exercising. I lost 100 pounds simply by altering my diet and exercising on a regular basis. People just need to get past the mindset of "I can't".

Funnier still, or sadder, is people think they can change how they eat for a period to lose weight, and then go back to their old way of eating once the weight is lost. :(
