Excess Metals and Alzheimer's Disease

I recently saw Dr. Neal Barnard on the Dr. Oz show, speaking about how metals, including copper, zinc and iron, should not be supplemented at all, and could cause Alzheimer's. Most of us already knew that cooking with aluminum, or using aluminum anti-perspirants were discouraged.

He went on to say not to use cast iron skillets, copper cookware or take any minerals at all, specifically copper, zinc and iron.
