So I went to get my teeth cleaned today..

It was a new dental hygienist.. she was being overly rough in my opinion.. really digging around the gums/teeth. I squirmed a bit.. ive never had a cleaning like that.. AND she cut my gums in the back behind my wisdom tooth. Its still sore 4 days later... and she actually said "your bleeding a lot.. this is not good" as if I wasnt taking good care of my teeth/gums when she actually cut me!

So now ive got a cut / irritated gum.. im trying not to irritate it and gargling with warm salt water.. any other ideas?

hmm yea.. maybe ill do that later :) or even coconut oil..

its like theres a tiny scab or blood clot thingy back there now.. its really tiny and it looks ok, i just thought a cut in the gums would heal really quick but I suppose its only been 3/4 days.. and I was irritating it a bit before.

Rinsing with the 3% (drug store brand) hydrogen peroxide for a few days will help too. Let it linger in the mouth for as long as you can. I would have done that right after the dentist appointment. That is too cut infection.
