Back in 2011, my mom was diagnosed with cancer and went through some surgery in her throat and mouth, along with several months of radiation.
While she is now cancer free, there is a lot of physical damage to her. One of the primary issues now is that radiation destroyed her thyroid. The doctors have given her several different medicines over the last few years to essentially replace the thyroid, but she is now allergic to all of the medicines.
I am looking for a natural alternative that is strong enough to replace these medicines and essentially take the place of her thyroid. She basically has hypothyroidism, but without a thyroid (since it is non-functioning)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
