Default Recipe - A Healthy, Homemade Protein Bar

ST, I recall you asking about healthy protein bars (a long time ago, at a board far, far away). I just found this and I thought it looked pretty solid and versatile.

That sounds really good. I think making your own energy bars is a great idea.

Homemade bars can definitely be healthier than the store bought variety, IMO.

I make homemade chocolate bars (with or without added whey protein) too. They have no added sugar, all organic ingredients and I even add green "superfoods". I got the idea from another forum member, Scorpiotiger.

I think we need a forum section for recipes!!! My darlin grandson is a year and a half now... Starting to eat foods on his own now... Ok, so he's a little slow... but remember, his arms are short and his thumb isnt as strong as most. We need to find substitutes for finger foods.. this cookie, cereal, junk food diet he is on is making his eczema so much worse... I need recipes for finger foods without sugar!!!

This recipe looks great by the way... Going to try and make it this weekend if time permits!

I agree, a recipe section would be great. I've got some good ones.

Gotta grab that recipe. I don't like the ones sold in stores, kinda taste like cardboard. Making them at home should suit my tastes.
