Arrow Hepatitis C, MSM & Liver Health

I've used MSM for the relief of pain due to inflammation related to muscle injuries, back pain and Plantar Fasciitis. Here's an article that shows it also benefits those with Hepatitis C for liver health.

MSM as a Liver Supplement for those with Hepatitis C
MSM is a very beneficial supplement for liver health and those with Hepatitis C as well as being very beneficial to relieving pain from Fibromyalgia.

MSM (Methyl-Sulphonyl-Methane) is an organic form of sulphur. MSM is found in all living organisms. Melthyl-Sulphonyl-Methane is is required for proper assimilation of some amino acids and sulfur is required in the molecular structure of proteins, catalysts, enzymes, and hormones, all essential to the bodys function. Proper levels of MSM are necessary for the body to create new healthy cells which it must constantly do to replace those that are constantly dying.

The human liver is one of the few organs in the body that can regenerate from as little as 25 percent of its tissue," says Seth Karp, assistant professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School. This is great news to those with Hepatitis C. If we can cut out diet and activities that are harmful to the liver, we can focus on trying to repair some of the damage to our liver through healthy diet and supplements. MSM may be useful to those with Hepatitis C by allowing the liver to build new healthy cells.

Because MSM plays a vital role in normal immune function and in the health of connective tissue, it is essential to everyone and especially necessary to someone with Hepatitis C as it may assist in softening and preventing further scar tissue in the liver. MSM may also be useful to those with Hepatitis C because sulphur is a vital component of healthy bile and is needed to produce the powerful antioxidant called glutathione. Glutathione not only protects against free radicals but is also an amino acid that is essential to liver detoxification.

According to an animal study, We found that adding MSM to the drinking water of mice resulted in a greater than doubling of the amount of total glutathione in the liver. We also found that animals administered carbon tetrachloride, a potent liver toxin, and also given MSM showed a significant reduction of markers of liver damage compared to non-MSM animals. (The FASEB Journal. 2008;22:445.8.)

MSM is also touted as support for the body in regulating insulin production, regulating environmental and allergic sensitivities, enhancing bowel function, enhancing respiratory function, and improving joint health.

Food Sources of MSM:
MSM is present in all living things. One source is fresh fruits and vegetables but MSM declines rapidly after picking. So eating really fresh food out of the garden not only tastes better but is also healthier! Foods particularly high in sulfur are sunflower seeds, garlic, lentils, soybeans, and yogurt. If you take MSM as a supplement, it is good to drink extra water with MSM use.

Safety of MSM:
Published scientific studies have shown MSM to be safe for human and animal use. Even at large dosage levels, there are no known significant adverse effects or drug interactions.

No such thing as Hep C virus. It is a mirage, like most of everything else in 'virology' these days. Fear campaigns create fat bank accounts for the insiders.

Anyone diagnosed with Hep C is either a drunk, druggie, living a trashy lifestyle or recieved blood products from such a person.

Live healthy and Hep C dissappears. Magic!
