Default Redmond Realsalt vs Himalayan Pink Salt

I just bought some redmond realsalt at target...

whats the difference between this and the himalayan pink salt?

so far, the redmond realsalt has some brown stuff in it....the brown stuff isn't salty....it tastes more like sand....I'm guessing the himalayan pink salt is just the crystals minus the occasional brown sandy stuff....

also...how much iodine do you suggest taking everyday?

The pink, in the Himalayan, is copper. Each have excellent amount of trace minerals. I like the Redmond nd Celtic.

There a large threads here regarding iodine. Check around. Dosage depends upon whether you want maintenance or healing. Check the threads.

Unhappy Salts!

I prefer using Only the Celtic Sea Salt.
On Iodine, I'd been using Iosol reco'ed by Dr David Williams but I'm going back to GLN's Detoxified Iodine as my recent Thyroid test showed I was Iodine deficient. That never happened with the Detoxified Iodine.
