This morning, 10 hours or so after wetting the denim, there is a mild
bleaching effect with the activated MMS, none with the straight MMS.

After washing, the blue shirt still has the same amount of bleaching and discolouration as before washing.
The jeans show no trace of change. They were already a paler, faded blue.

I think I was confused.......it was the straight MMS that bleached my jeans, not the activated MMS. I think the difference is that the straight MMS is not diluted. Even the straight MMS doesn't bleach as strongly as Clorox.
