Default request for Kevin

Kevin, is there some way to add "View My Posts" on the top navigation bar? or maybe under Quick Links?

This is one thing missing here on VBulletin that I miss.

Thanks.

There is no easy configuration to add the link in vBulletin, but you can find the links on your profile page. e.g. Your public profile page is https://www.natmedtalk.com/members/scorpiotiger.html

There are two links:
Find all posts by scorpiotiger
Find all threads started by scorpiotiger

OK, I figured out my problem. My geek friend registered and was able to read all the posts. He said that he thought that my problem was with a setting. I found a place where you have a choice of DISPLAY MODES: linear, hybrid, or threaded. I was on hybrid. I switched to linear, and I'm OK now.

Thank you for your help.

glad you not only figured it out, but posted about it. That way, if someone else is having the problem, you help them, too.

yes, this is the link to find scorpiotiger's posts, because I am user 467. This link won't help anyone else, though.

However, I found this over at the vbulletin board:
https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=209378

something to consider.

but, until then, what people can do to see their own posts, is to click on Quick Links, then click My Profile.

on the MyProfile page, you will see 2 links:

Thanks for the link, scorpiotiger. I have added the link.

Usually I refrain myself from modifying the forum with non-standard changes, which will make the upgrade difficult. vBulletin releases new versions frequently, the changes might cause some problems.

I thought members used this rarely, also, it can be done with one more click, usually I tend to avoid these kind of changes.

I understand completely about trying to keep the installation as vanilla as possible.

I thought this might make it easier for people coming from phpbb...

but, perhaps, this would have been better determined with a poll. next time, that is what I will do. sometimes you think that your opinion is the common opinion.. (but it isn't :P)

Iggy, I just listened to your signature Youtube video.

I grew up near there and visited the everglades many times. beautiful, but eerie. My mom made curtains that looked like the clothing of the seminole indians, hand sewed on the designs. My friends still remember those curtains.

The boats you see in that video, we called them swamp buggies. (this is big one).. but people had some small ones they would keep docked).

sometimes after a hurricane, we would end up with a stray alligator in a canal in suburbia.. they were usually noticed pretty quickly and returned to the everglades.

oh.. I'm getting homesick...
