The edit function doesn't apply, as far as I can tell, for older posts. I can still edit the post you replied to but not the one with the broken link.

Try it (on an older post). If you figure it out ... please let me know.

When I use mms to brush my teeth with I dilute it with an ounce or two of water.

Dr Bronner.... I met him many years ago when I lived in Escondido, California as he was a friend of a dear friend of mine. We went to his house several times. He was old then it seemed to me but everyone over thirty seemed old back then. He wore glasses that were dark green and thick as coke bottles. I do think he was about functionally blind. He talked much like his labels read. If you want to know his mind and heart read the labels on the Bronners soap bottles. He seem obcessed with civil justice, totalitarian government, which was where he believed America was heading. He was Jewish and escaped Nazi Germany with great difficulty as they wanted to use his knowledge in chemistry. Many of his family members were murdered by Nazi forces.

I use his soap religiously for 30 years now. (but never brushed my teeth with it!)

sorry, I forgot. I think Kevin has a time limit as to how long after you post that you can edit. I can't remember what that time limit is..

It depends on how the forum is set up.

I like the Bronner soaps (the ones I've tried).

They had a documentary on Bronner and his son about a year ago. His son has put several videos with his stories.. interesting.

Ralph Bronner is involved in social and environmental causes. He also has a page on "cleaning up the organic personal care industry":
Truth and Lies in Organic Personal Care

Quote:
We are taking necessary and dramatic steps in concert with the Organic Consumers Association “Coming Clean” Campaign, to clean up the natural personal care industry. Dr. Bronner would be rather incensed by the rampant organic fraud perpetrated by companies and brands that should know better, but pumped about how we are stepping up with his shoes to address the situation, just as he would have done. How do you brush and rinse with the MMS? How many drops do you activate and how much water do you use to dilute it? I would he interested in this for myself, my husband, and my kids, if you don't mind sharing.

Harry.. I saw this today at the store and thought it might be good for brushing teeth and the gums:

Funny you should mention it. I just started using Dr. Bronners' Tea Tree (Liquid) Soap a few days ago. It doesn't taste half-bad but it's too soon to know if it's benefiting my oral health.

I've been using the Dr. B's Peppermint (Liquid) Soap for several weeks now. I can't tell any difference (yet?) in the quality of my teeth or gums. I can say that it doesn't seem to prevent plaque build-up any better than the natural toothpaste I was using.

So, I don't know if it's helping but I think it's probably safer/healthier than the dozens of ingredients contained in my other toothpaste. And, it's certainly cheaper. I'll keep at it for awhile.
