Default occasional mucus in stool?

So for a little while now ive been noticing sometimes I have mucus in my stool. its like a see through/whitish gelly like filmy substance.. almost looks like toilet paper thats been sitting in the toilet.

Doesnt happen every time I go but seems like every couple times I see it.. should I be really worried? If my intestinal lining is shedding does that cause leaky gut? Or is it just a normal process thats happening too much?

I did have salmonella poisoning like 2 months ago, didnt treat it with antibiotics or anything but it went away after a week.. and now im on some anti-parasitic, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial herbs.. kinda feel like the shedding has increased a bit with use of these herbs..

Take o'hiras probiotics for a week and quit worrying. Did you change your diet recently?

moxsum, I have noticed the exact same thing. I attributed it to my drastic change in diet over the last while.

I get this sometimes but I figure it's the gelatinous stuff from supplements I take daily.

hmm interesting.. duno if thats what it is.. I doubt it.. unless the supplement filler is totally undigestable.

Then again, I have seen a supp or two come out with the pill almost intact..

seems more likely to be intestinal mucous for whatever reason
