Sounds like a canchre sore to me. It probably has a microbal origin. It may go away on its own and a very acidic diet can bring it on. This thread may be helpful to you.

Arrowwind,
I think it's a Canker Sore.Gently brushed my Teeth/Tongue,then gargled with Peroxide.Am now making a Mug of Pau D' Arco Tea.Do you think GSE Liquid on my Toothbrush would help?

Some folks put Tea Tree Oil on their canker sores inside the mouth.

Kind2creatures,
I read using Tea Tree Oil on Canker Sores is helpful.Went to Doctor on Wednesday. He told me I cut my Tongue, have Fungus in my Mouth and the swelled Gland in my R Neck is Tonsillitis, which I disagree.I do not have a sore Throat. He wrote a Scrip for Duricef, and I'm taking Probiotics and eating Organic, plain and unsweetened Yogurt. He is concerned about my Immune System. Each time I have Labs at the Clinic,my WBC is slightly elevated.April 1 at an Appointment,WBC was 13.2,yet at Emergency early Morning April 2-normal..

I'd like to say since I've been on Vitamin D3 I've had maybe 1 of these in 2 years. I used to get these so much before. I used to get them on my tongue, and the inside of my lips.
