BTW ALL - unopened cottage cheese will keep much longer than stated on that first link.
Just store the containers Upside Down in your fridge until you're ready to eat it. The quality of the
cottage cheese will stay fine. I sometimes buy 4 or 5 at a time when it's on special, so I know this works.

Honey will never go bad unless it is contaminated.

Freezing food will not prevent decay, it will only slow it down. If left long enough it will eventually go bad.

Products like ice cream should only be stored for 6 months max.
