Default Mebendazole Elicits an Antitumor Effect on Human Cancer

Mebendazole Elicits a Potent Antitumor Effect on Human Cancer Cell Lines Both in Vitro and in Vivo1

Full Abstract:
https://clincancerres.aacrjournals.or...8/9/2963.short

We have found that mebendazole (MZ), a derivative of benzimidazole, induces a dose- and time-dependent apoptotic response in human lung cancer cell lines. In this study, MZ arrested cells at the G2-M phase before the onset of apoptosis, as detected by using fluorescence-activated cell sorter analysis. MZ treatment also resulted in mitochondrial cytochrome c release, followed by apoptotic cell death.

Mebendazole was mainly used as an anti-parasitic drug by killing the tubules of the worms and starving them to death. The research on cancer was originally done about 10/12 years ago.

Teva, the US manufacterer stopped manufacture 12 months ago. Could be getting ready to patent as a cancer drug?

Latest research is favorable on leukemia and myeloma.

............also on brain cancer.

Hulda Clark always said that glioblastoma was a parasite problem, tape worm in some cases and by treating it as such she cured one little boy of this cancer.

Interesting.

Would it be something to take "just in case" without knowing if the antifungal is needed? Are there products better/stronger than others? Could some be ineffective?

I know of someone that has had HORRENDOUS health issues and care. She is a mess. I finally got her to talk to her doctor about systemic candida. He handed her a question/answer form and he decided to bypass his usual anti-fungal measures of "...We will be using herbal and more natural products, then graduating to more effective killers of yeast like pharmaceutical drugs." And prescribed Nystatin from her answers

I think there could be additional treatment for her. (parasites) But I am getting off topic.

here is a pdf on parasites and info about mebendazole. Its a good read.
https://forum.mmspr.net/downloads/HOW...0INFECTION.pdf

and this article discusses a study of mebendazole in giloblastoma
https://neuro-oncology.oxfordjournals...9/974.abstract
Mebendazole has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for parasitic infections, has a long track-record of safe human use, and was effective in our animal models with doses documented as safe in humans. Our findings indicate that mebendazole is a possible novel anti-brain tumor therapeutic that could be further tested in clinical trials

and regarding chemo resistant melanoma:
