Default Root canal care

Hello - Im a 47 y/o female and always had healthy teeth and gums. I take doctor grade supplements (Pure Encapsulation) that a attribute to my good health today.
About a 1 years ago I cracked a top back tooth (#18) and went to the dentist as an emergency visit. I was told I needed root canal and only have about 30% of my tooth bed still intact. I was also told that over time this will quickly ware away to nothing but a hole leading to my sinus cavity. Well, not good news to hear when you dont have dental insurance and a history of problems with anesthesia. I came across articles that said root canal was mostly an unnecessary procedure (totally surprised me).
So I searched alternative options and for the next year began oil pulling (on and off daily) and I doubled most my supplements such as Biotin, MSM, NAC, B12 ect. I now use a toothpowder (Eco-Dent DailyCare).
3 times a day: I wet my toothbrush with Oreganol (juice of Wild Oregano), Oil of Oregano or Colloidal Silver then add the toothpowder and brush twice. I then rinse with sea saltwater. Soon after starting this routine the pain totally subsided and to my amazement my tooth began to grow. The crack is visible from the outside and there is new tooth bone growing down from the top. There is still a gap in the middle as sometimes I forget and get food in it but no pain.
Although this routine has been a positive one - I wondered if anyone can offer any other much appreciated advice.
Sonia

Excellent! People don't know that teeth can regrow. It is fairly rare but it can be done. Ozone applications to the tooth will also make it regrow. Sounds like you are doing everything you could possibly do short of ozone. There are a few dentists who use ozone in the US. There are a number of physcians who use ozone and may be easier to find. They could apply ozone to your tooth for you. It only takes a couple of minutes. You would likely need about 4 treatments, one every two weeks. Some where I have the protocol for it. Will see if I can find it.

Yes I read about ozone treatment but figured I will do all I can on my own as what I been told by the dentist seems to not be the whole truth. There is a curious scientist inside me so I don't mind being my own Ginny pig.
For many years I believed that once you baby teeth fall out and your adult teeth fully grow in that is the end of teeth growth - the new bone marrow was possibly the biggest surprise through this whole process but one that gives me comfort.
** On another note: many years ago I was a member on the other forum but left when there was more nonsense then info being posted. This forum feels like a great place and Im glad I found a link(Thanks Barbara) to here from there.

Thanks kindly, Sonia

Default UPDATE:

My problem tooth began to throb and I experienced excruciating headaches for about 6 days so I visited the dentist (not the same one as first time around).

*CORRECTION* it is tooth #15 (top, left, 2nd to last) otherwise called a 2nd molar.

Apparently, I had grinded my teeth in my sleep (not sure when) and cracked what was left of the tooth leaving a whole into my sinus cavity.

The dentist insisted on a root canal (nothing new) but I was afraid of infection left behind and I insisted to pull the tooth.

If it were a visible tooth or relied upon to align other teeth - I might of toyed with the idea of root canal but as it was last in line, hidden in the back and would make no difference with mouth function - I had it pulled.

My main concern was that I have Mitral Value Prolapse and how much infection would be loosen with removal. All turned out fine as I’ve been very good with my daily remedy of oil pulling, Colloidal Silver, Oil of Oregano, Clove Nut Oil, and warm sea salt water for oral health.

The tooth gave no problem coming out as it was very decayed under the gym. Possibly infection is left behind but I'm taking extra precautions.

My headaches have lifted and I wish I decided to have it pulled when it first became a problem but at least now I have peace of mind that it is entirely out and done with…and that feels good!

Hi Sonia,

I am very impressed by your self-enforced regimen of your teeth care. It seems that we have similar teeth issues! Arrowwind09 and many others on this forum have so far been greatly helpful with their advice.

I am interested in some of the ideas you are implementing for your teeth. For example, where do you get the Oreganol (Juice of Wild Oregano)? What is "Oil Pulling" and how is it done? And lastly, what supplement labels are you taking for the maximum potency?

Thank you for sharing your success!

Cheers,
David

Default Root Canal vs Implant

Has anyone gone through the process of having a tooth pulled and then restored by way of an implant as opposed to having a root canal?

Default Root Canal Avoidance

I noticed that your root canal story for tooth #18 was posted in 2009. And then, you found out it was tooth #15 that had the problem and had to be pulled because of headaches.

I was just wondering how things are going now? And, if you have learned anymore information about the healing or regrowth of teeth since then?
