Default Tough question

I really don't know the answer to this and I haven't seen any answer on the internet, but here it goes: I have been shopping at Trader Joe's because I like how they say everything in their store is non-GMO. Great. But the chicken is in the form of patties or forzen chicken strips which means processed. So ... is it healthier to eat fresh chicken that is GMO or processed chicken that is non-GMO? Neither is the best solution but fresh non-GMO is not an option where I live (thanks to the powers that be.)

I'm not sure I understand or maybe it's my ignorance, but I wasn't aware there was GMO chicken? GMO as far as I'm aware is crops and they were talking about fish. Unless I'm mistaken maybe you meant to write chicken that is feed on GMO soybeans versus ones that do not eat GMO soybeans? Because I don't believe GMO chicken is on the market at least in the USA, but maybe that's new to me.

I think anything fresh is probably better. I believe many manufactors soak the chicken in salt and some even in sugar for both to preserve and make the chicken last long as well as taste.

My error - I am just lumping everything negative into GMO I guess. I should say the fresh chicken in the grocery stores are shot up with antibiotics.

Look for 'Humanely Raised' chicken. Humanely raised means they get to range, which means they get to eat bugs, which is their natural food.
