Just saw an interview with Michelle Obama. She says she exercises 1 1/2 hours per day. Most times she gets up at 4:30 (good lord!). Sometimes she will wait until the kids go to school. That's dedication. She looks good for it. She mixes aerobic with anaerobic.

I hope you don't have anything sinister going on. But good for you for continuing your withdrawal from cigarettes.

Check out this web page for bronchial support herbs. Several categories of support. https://evenstaronline.com/articles/respiratoryease.html

Since you are so successful, this info is probably too late for you now. You can see why it is so tough to quit smoking.

It would have been best to increase your GABA levels prior to quitting. Also, alcohol affects dopamine release. Some tyrosine is used to boost dopamine.

I have no clue why I am succeeding. Tried 4 yrs ago and did like 9 days and was craving one every waking minute. I am not craving at all right now (the only thing I am craving is spicy food and buffalo wings)

Day 41 seriously busy this semester at 3 different places (one is a quarter system and ends in march). But my work outs are weekends and once mid week this week.

I agree with Cookie, Saved! Sharing your personal goal with others is so positive and helpful, and seeing you succeed is just the boost that some others may need to follow through with their goals. I'm glad to see you've reached day 41, way to go!

Whoa... you're gonna lose muscle, just sayin'..

Isn't the body designed to only lose 2lbs of fat a week and then it takes from muscle & other tissue?

That's good! Evidently you'll need it for stress reduction LOL

Were you working out the first time you quit 4 years ago?

Starting tomorrow the diet begins. I weighed in last tuesday 212 pounds 200 when I stopped smoking. Not cool. I am going to go for 20 days, no beer the first 12/14. 1500 calories a day, no pasta and very little bread. More fruits, rice, veggies for the carbs.
