Default Drops for dry/irritated eyes

I use Similasan and Refreshe eye drops regularly for dry, scratchy, irritated eyes. Anyone using these drops, or recommendations of other brands?

I've read that these are very good. Its actually the inactive ingredient, N-acetyl-carnosine, that does all the work. I wonder why the list it that way.
iHerb.com - Product Details - Life Extension, Brite Eyes III, 2 Vials (5 ml each)

I bought some once then misplaced them..still looking, so I have nothing to report. But the reports are very interesting on what N-acetyl-carnosine does for your eyes.

My question would be why are the eyes scratchy and irritated all the time. I find flushing the eyes with collodial silver can be helpful because bacteria can make those symptoms. Could it be allergy? MMS orally is reported to cure sjoegren's disease. I've read several reports about that.

Thanks Arrowwind, I'll look into those, and the ingredient too, interesting info! The air is very dry where I live, and it seems to be windy often, blowing around the dirt and dust. Also I do have hay fever, and sometimes rub the heck out of my eyes when they itch, luckily that seems to lessen with age. I have used colloidal silver internally before, and not very impressed with it. I'd be afraid to put it in my eyes, always wary of stuff that might affect my vision, which luckily, so far is pretty good.

I've used it in my eyes and my dogs eyes. Works very well. Lots of people do it. But I would only use it if I thought there was infection. Lubricant is what you need, I'm guessing.

Well I found the Bright Eyes III. They were in the camper all winter waiting for discovery with our first outing. So I've used them for a week now. I was having itchy and watery eyes for a couple of weeks causing me to rub my eyes often, which I suppose was some airborne allergy but not sure. They really help.

Another suggestion is Viva-Drops as its a combination of sterile vitamin A oil and eye healthy antioxidants.
