\r\n \r\n I remember reading a book by Anthony Robbins entitled Awaken the Giant Within. In the book, he says that people exercise strenuously but eat unhealthy foods, which is a recipe for a heart attack. It\'s not just heart attacks though; it\'s everything.\r\n

\r\n \r\n It does, of course, depend entirely on what that exercise is... and one\'s capacity to perform it.
\n
\nGentle walking is great for everyone. Building up when ready for it to brisk walking and uphill walking - a great circulationary and cardio workout.
\nSwimming is great multi-purpose exercise.
\n
\nBut yes, pounding exercise i.e. road running can impact negatively on your knees and joints. Ditto cycling if you overdo it.
\n
\nContact sports, like rugby, always carry a risk of injury.
\n
\nAnd overdoing weight training can strain the heart and body.
\n
\nOn top of all that you have to be mindful of exercise if you\'re overweight.
\nI always remember seeing this guy jogging along. He was overweight and about 60. He wasn\'t moving very fast, I could have overtaken him just by walking past him... He was purple in the face and sweating like a horse. I was tempted to flag him down for his own good but ...you have to respect people\'s personal space don\'t you.

\nExercise is good for you! It\'s an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. It just needs to be the right exercise...Be sensible about it.\r\n

I dislike the tone in which this post was written. It's very shallow. It's as saying sugar is bad for you without specifying what kind of sugar and the amount of it. Next time, do us a favor and writr more detailed about the things you want share.
