Arrow Canine Epilepsy

Here's a site that's been around for awhile and has lots of good information regarding Canine Epilepsy. Dogs can be born with this affliction, or develop it at any time in their lives. Epilepsy requires special care and medications, and some natural supplements can help.

Thanks for the post. I have a dog with canine epilepsy named Cory, and we were actually able to get his seizures under control to the point where he is now 13 years old and hasn't had a seizure in over 5 years. If you're interested, I blog about him too at corysstory.com

Again, thanks for helping spread the word about how dog owners can help their dogs cope with epilepsy. It's a horrible disease, but it can be treated.

Welcome to the forum r3bb, I'll have to check out your blog. My girl developed Idiopathic Epilepsy around the age of 5, she's had it for 1 1/2 yrs. now, and she clusters. Congrats on Cory's success, five years without seizures is great. I remember reading of another case where the dog stopped having seizures as it aged, for the last 8 years of life. She was born with Epilepsy, and also had it since she was a puppy.
