He is on the right track, somewhat, but is light years behind in many ways.
He still believes in using drugs as his first choice, although he does admit that all drugs have side effects.
He also suggests that only "high risk" patients use statins, because, according to him, they have the most to gain. However, he "assumes" that these drugs actually work, when there is no proof they prevent heart attacks or allow longer life.
He did not mention diet, lifestyle changes, or taking supplements, just like a typical conventional cardiologist.
