I have used Homeopathic Belladonna many times with my kids when they were small. Do not be afraid to try it.

They will be very hot, maybe a little delerious or seem spooked, lips dry, eyes glassy.

It literally saved my 3 month old from going to the hospital cause if that didn't work thats where we were going becasue he had refused to eat for 3 days. . He was better in 15 minutes. Thats right. 15 minutes.

You may be interested in reading the homeoapthic column on www.healthsalon.org I have writted an article on how Homeoapthy works, called Homeoapthy explained, part 1 part 2

If in doubt with homeoapthy, give the remedy any way. There were times I gave my kids 3, 4, 5 remedies till I found the right one. Selecting the right remedy can be hard.

When my kids were small I got an emergency kit, and after a few years expaned to a 300 remedy kit, actually 600 remedies in all. 300 in 30c potency and 300 in 200c potency... best money I ever spent and its paid for itself time and again.... there is a learning curve though. You have to study it some.

There are several remedies for fever in kids. I would get Dana Ulman's book called "Everybodies Guide to Homeopathic Medicines" as a starter. It got me though some health issues and selecting a remedy. I also took the kids to a homeopath, as they got older only when I couldn't figure it out myself.

Question Childhood fevers!

Doesn't it depend on what is causing the Fever?

last nite, my 4 yr old had a stomach virus....
he threw up and ran a fever up to 103.....
so my wife who's an RN....gave him children's tylenol....
it brought it down to about 99.1-100

he stayed at about that temp.....and is at about 99.4 right now...this morning....

although....when he was sleeping last nite, he had pulled the covers over his face and was probably breathing in the air he was breathing out....that's my opinion as to why his forehead temp reached 103....
I caught it really quickly and as soon as I repositioned him and took a cover away his temp started falling....

she gave him a cool bath anyway and some children's tylenol...

what kind of Homeopathic Belladonna should you get?

I saw some on the boiron website......
https://www.boironusa.com/products/single/belladonna.php

I used their chestal cough medicine and it worked when nothing else would on my kids....

is Boiron good?

Hot and dry lips is a sign that belladonna is likely a correct remedy.

Homeopathy is complex. The great thing about it is that if the right remedy is selected then you have a cure, not just a fever reduction as tylenol gives.

https://www.healthsalon.org/80/homeopathy-explained-part-one/

You will find link to part two at the bottom of the page under related posts.

It does not matter what causes the illness most of the time. You match the presenting symptoms to the remedy picture.

Young children can get many fevers up till around age 5. This is normal as their body adjusts to all the variable pathogens in the enviroment. This builds their immune system. With my kids I did not give tylenol unless they were very uncomfortable and "suffering" from fever. One of my kids would continue to go full steam at 102 and 103. I would give homeoapthy only. Tylenol only if he were suffering.

The wright remedy should make things start to look good after about 1 hour in these types of acute cases, sometimes faster.

Fever in general is good. It reflects that the immune sytem is working on combating the pathogen. I would not give a tepid bath for 103. It is normal for children to go up to 104, 105. Seizure does not come from how high the fever go up, but rather from the fever going up very fast. This is common knownledge in pediatrics these days. 102 can be a severe fever for an adult but not for a kid.

I do know that my son that I spoke of above that was considering taking to the hospital, would have been in for a rough ride if I had.. Blood work, spinal tap and antibiotics IV just in case, no matter what. Homeopathy saved him from all of that.

Borion is good and sold in most healt food stores in the US. I have not had any issues with any of the homeoapthic companies. I generally use Bengal Allen, which come from India, and used in hospitals there. Their remedies are about $1. each, but you have to purchase a kit,
as compared to Borion which is about $6 or perhaps more now per remedy.

I've never heard of these remedies ever lol. All I know is that my poor immune system was abused by antibiotics and cold medicine all my childhood. When I finally got older and able to refuse things, I realized nothing worked and that I had to let my body fight infections by itself. So I did and it didn't take long until I finally stopped getting sick every month!
