Default COPD coming off prescription meds looking for alternative

Hi all, my father suffers from COPD he has been taking antibiotics for the past decade and steroids for the past two years pretty much constantly, he feels the drugs are not particularly helping just simple poisioning his system at the moment he is very inactive and is taking a daily mixture of 12 different meds. he has now decided enough is enough he wants to stop taking these meds and has started a diet, trying to cut out all dairy and sugars, if anyone out there could give us any advice on how he should come off the meds, advice on diet and also advice on alternatives that may be worth i try, i would be eternally greatful for any help

With COPD it is imperative that he remains infection free, either from bacteria or virus.
I suggest that you go to this site and study it. A maintenance dose of 6 drops a day will help to protect him
www.jimhumble.biz

He should also be on vitamin D3, 5,000 IU a day minimum. Do that for a month then have his levels checked. Some elderly need 10,000 IU a day

Vitamin C 8,000 mg a day which should be taken at least 2 hours after the MMS

A greens drink like Greens 8000 from www.Iherb.com it also comes in berry flavor.
mix it with yogurt or juice and add one scoop of Jarrow whey which provides complete protien and will boost glutathione levels

He should keep an inhaler around because he may have days when he really needs it.

Hard to say how well he will do as he may have a rebound effect from coming off of steroids. Look at taking serrapeptase for inflammation learn about it here. www.serrapeptase.info

I use Drs Best from www.iherb.com
If you have never ordered from Iherb before you can get a $5 off your first purchase by using coupon code BAR967

I would also look at this product (not from Iherb) and I have written about it on my blog.
https://www.healthsalon.org/504/prota...e-aging-clock/
all these herbs will be helpful to him.

He should also be on a good probiotic since he has been on steroids and antibiotics... I like VSL#3 These drugs damage the gut.
He needs flora replacement for quite a while.

Jim Humle doesn't sell it. I couldnt find a supplier in Ireland but this company does international shipping. also, I want to mention that he should gradually cut those steroids if he chooses to stop. Just stopping can cause a strong rebound effect. Take at least 2 weeks to gradually cutting the dosage as you go. Best to have a doctor help you with that.

Hi Carol, welcome to the forum. I don't know if you've already read through these, but here are some older threads that offer some suggestions.
