Good I thought for a minute you hadn't sussed the NK cells were killing the tumor.

hummmm, Norway gets no sun for 6 months, yet they have the lowest cancer rates in the industrial world. Fish does give you vitamin D, they eat tons of cod.
Stephan has lots to say on Cancer look for the posts on OMEGA 3<> Omega 6 ration. it's not the only the vitamin d status but the omega 3 level in relation to the omega 6 intake.

Does Vitamin D Treat Cancer?
I am not suggesting this is the only strategy to deploy.
I'd be interested in reading the full text of this Is there a role for a low-carbohydrate ketogenic diet in the management of prostate cancer

Indeed but it is easy and cheap to correct vitamin D status.
We have a pretty good idea of what initiates the cancer.
How Vitamin D Reduces the Incidence of Cancer: The DINOMIT Model

The fact that there is more money to be made in treating cancer than in preventing it is the root of the problem.

We've sussed out our bankers were screwing us, and we have now (particularly in the UK ) seen how our politicians have been doing the same. What we haven't yet grasped is the pharmecutical industry is not there promoting our good health but their high salaries and company profits and they won't make as much money if we don't get cancer. And preventing cancer for free or for the cost of an effective strength D3 capsule isn't going to make them richer it simply does the opposite hence the lack of interest.

Vitamin D levels are usually quoted as ng/mL or nmol/l.
so, can you convert the Mayo clinics pg/mL into ng/mL??

People in Alaska get about the same sun (NO sun) as the people in Norway....and they both eat lots of fish......so why do the Alaskans get a lot more cancer.?

Double Nobel Prize Laureate, Dr. Linus Pauling once said, "everyone should know that the "War on Cancer" is, largely, a fraud." This is because there are numerous powerful stakeholders that have a financial interest in the cancer business, a huge industry of its own. Large petro-chemical corporations, the tobacco and pharmaceutical industry, universities receiving millions of dollars each year for research, even some non-profit cancer organizations have differing cancer-related agendas.

I wonder what the gross spending on the cancer industry is....all the charities....research agencies.......hospitals.......drug companies........doctors........machines.......I just supose that if they discovered that ultra sound, a cheap machine, can cure all tumors.......it would put this country into a tail spin.

they can't hide forever.

Ted,
seems we were thinking alike at the same time, although I sure disagree about vitamin D, I just know too many people living up here at 8,000 feet that have gotten cancer. People here, a ski town, think the cancer rate is higher here than elsewhere. And man oh man, we got sun.

But, it sure is the cancer industry that is looking out for it's bottom line. Not in China though, as they don't have enterprise like we do.....so I'll be watching them progress.

I keep telling my son's girlfriend she should go into ultra sound. Its big money and a great service all around...at least in these pre Obama health reform days.

sussed=figured out

Yes, get into ultrasound-- especially if she is spunky! If someone did what doctors do with prostate cancer--I think it would do well (set up a clinic in Mexico or Nassau or Canada). Even if she isn't, it's a good line of work, looks easy too.
