Unhappy Pelvic Pain!/Do I need a 2nd opinion?

I have been having pelvic pain for the last 2 months with fluttering in my lower stomach & pelvic area. It feels like it do when you're pregnant and baby is moving. But negative blood and urine pregnancy test. My menstrual is regular and on time each month. My gyno ordered transabdominal & transvaginal ultrasounds for pelvic pain & gallbladder. She called after she got the results and said my gallbladder was negative and my pelvic area was all good. But i was still having pains so I got a copy of the reports on my own. I'm no doctor but something don't seem right about the report. Here is a copy:
Findings: TRANSABDOMINAL: The uterus measures 11 x 5.1 x 6.0 cm. The endometrium is 1.1 cm in thickness. No definate myometrial masses are noted.
The right ovary measures 2.5 x 1.9 x 1.7 cm. The left ovary measures 2.5 x 2.2 x 1.5 cm. There are multiple small follicles in both ovaries. There is no evidence of an adnexal mass or free fluid.
TRANSVAGINAL: The myometrium is heterogeneous. Several small fibers are noted in the anterior and posterior fundus. The largest posteriorly measures 0.9 x 0.9 x 0.6 cm. The endometrium is 0.7 cm in thickness. The right ovary measures 2.5 x 2.1 x 2.0 cm & the left ovary measures 2.8 x 1.8 x 2.5 cm. There is no evidence of an adnexal mass or free fluid.
IMPRESSION:
1. Enlarged fibroid uterus with 2-subcentimeter fibroids seen in the anterior and posterior fundus.
2. Normal appearance of the ovaries, adnexa and endometrium

Would a pregnancy show with ultrasounds? I had an accident in march with the protection coming off! But if I was that would make me months! & I know if something was there it would have shown up! But I'm still having Mild cramps & pelvic pain! But she say I'm ok. Should I get a second opinion?

The fibroids could be causing your pain and discomfort, did your gyno say anything about this?

No all she said was everything looked good. I have my good days & bad days with the pelvic pain. i take tylenol 3 & Aleve and they seem to help. But I'm more concerned about the ultrasounds and making sure I wasn't pregnant because of the pills I be taking. But She didn't put it on the order to check for a pregnancy.and I asked the tech was any signs of a baby but she said she couldnt tell me anything & to wait for my doctor to give me the results. But Im quite sure if i was it would have been on the report too I guess! Thank you so much for your reply!

They consider fibroids in the uterus normal unless they are getting too large or are causing bleeding... so many woman have them and they are very common.

Two things come to mind in your case.... you have a hormonal irregularity, hence cramps...

or for the pelvic pain, which you don't describe very well, makes me think of pelvic congestion syndrome. There can be a number of causes of PCS as it is a syndrome, not a specific disease. Once common cause is vericous veins in the pelvis. Seems like some of those ultra sounds would have seen them. Vericose veins can be caused by estrogen. Most post menapausal women who have this syndrom do get relief when menapause happens.

I had PCS last year and spent a near fortune trying to figure it out. Finally a doctor in Mexico said that it was likely a vericous vein giving me pain and that the extraordinary pain I had may have been due to the swollen vein irritating a nerve. The cure was an anti-inflammatory pill and a pill to streghten the cellular structure of the vascular walls called Daflon. Do a tag search on this forum for Daflon. Many studies have been done on it and the doc down there said most vascualr patients in mexico get it. Its quite safe to take, made from micronized bioflavinoids. The pain pill is called Dolo-Neurobion by Merck which is similar to (valtaren or dolfenac in USA) except the Mexican brand has B vitamins also. I was also given injections of B12, qutie highpowered at 10mg a shot once a week, which is standard for B12 injections in Mexico.

I was pain free in about 1 week. Dolo-Neurobion (or vataren in the USA, but has no B vitamins with it) is so much stronger than ibuprofen. take 50mg 2 time a day. I think the B12 shots also really helped. US doctors are extremely stingy on B12. Maybe you can find on line Bedoyecta Tri by grossman labs. Its a 10mg, B12 injection. One a week for 2 to 3 weeks should do it. It comes in boxes of 5 injections.

You can purchase Dolo-Neurobion on line but watch out for imposters. Some similar names but use paracetamol (tylenol) instead of voltaren. for instance this is NOT it: https://www.aliviovital.com/dolo-neur...in-relief.html

This is it: https://www.interpharmaplus.com/product.php?p=204 or here at a better price: https://www.mexmeds4you.com/productdetails.asp?pid=1002
I only pain $15 in Mexico

If the cramps are different from the pelvic pain and they really are a problem for you I suggest that you see a doctor that does bio-identical hormonal replacement to see if your hormones are out of wack.

Before I went to that though I would look into supplementing with Lugols iodine. Try that for a few months and see if it makes a difference. Lugols will mediate the effects of estrogen. And since you have fibroids you might be needing iodine. Fibrocystic breasts also? Iodine takes care of some cases of fibroids. The mediation of the estrogen may be just what your cramps are looking for. All women need to supplement with iodine. We have many posts on the topic here. Do a forum search and a tag search on iodine
