The Wrinkle Cure: Nicholas Perricone, MDFrom which we see the causes of wrinkles are
Quote:
Sun exposure
A pro-inflammatory diet (That consists of sugar and starches)
Cigarette smoking
Lack of sleep
Excess alcohol consumption
The sun exposure is IMO only going to cause wrinkles in people who have a low omega 3/vitamin D status.
Replacing the pro inflammatory vegetable oils like corn, soybean, safflower, sunflower and cottonseed oil with coconut oil will help.

Coconut oil is good for skin topically as well as through diet.

Cool Wrinkles!

I definitely agree with the coconut oil both internally & externally.
Egg white masks are a great way to tighten the skin.
Good reason NOT to lose weight as the fat helps plump up the skin hiding the wrinkles..

As we age, the skin loses the ability to hold or keep moisture absorbed.

During the winter it's tough to keep splashing our faces with water during the day if you're like me & wear foundation to work, but it is worth doing at all other times. Most people guess me to be 8 to 14 years younger than I am..

I've read that vitamin C helps prevent wrinkles

https://wrinkles.ygoy.com/2010/10/15/...les-treatment/
I take vitamin C not for wrinkles, but for other benefits.

Cool

Actually I don't seem to have a problem with wrinkles except for 2 tiny ones between my eyes.
I've never worn make-up except when performing with my Sweet Adelines chorus years ago. Lipstick only otherwise.
Sometime a tiny bit of blush. Once I outgrew my freckles, I decided that God gave me good skin-why muck it up.
I do sometimes use the egg white mask & have used an avocado mask too.

I think some things like coconut oil are good to make wrinkles not get any worse than they are. They talked about face creams with DMAE on the Dr. Oz show today, and how they help lessen or fade wrinkles, not sure about this ingredient though.

I always wondered if creams with collagen or hylauronic acid would improve wrinkles.

Rhytides, commonly known as wrinkles, on the face are an unsightly and irritating problem. Photoaging makes our faces look much older than we'd like, and certainly older than we feel. Initially they may start as dynamic wrinkles, along our squint lines near the eyes or foreheads creases. Then they may deepen into permanent lines. Brown spots, facial veins or other symptoms of sun damage may also set in. Fortunately there is hope.
