Smile Echinacea and Garlic

Okay, everyone!

For those are interested, here's another article in memory of Mother. This one is about home remedies involving echinacea and garlic.

I would appreciate feedback, especially anyone who has used echinacea and/or garlic as a cold or flu remedy.

Thanks,

Greenmom

I used to make an Echinacea Tincture years ago but I now use only fresh
garlic for a cold or flu preventative. Kyolic Capsules probably work too,
but I like garlic and prefer the fresh. It's very reasonable at the grocery,
easy to get/buy weekly and has done the job for me. I've had no colds,
sore throats, etc. nor flu of any kind for many, many years. Plus an
added benefit of garlic is that it helps in Blood Pressure control too.
I eat from 2 to 4 garlic pieces a day.

Hey guys. I bought some organic garlic at whole foods. What a difference.

Seriously, it is a million times better than grocery store garlic. Just like the free range beef, a million times better than the grain/steroid fed stuff.

saved1986,

When do you usually eat the garlic? Is it with a meal or shortly after?

I use it in cooking, garlic bread, pasta sauces, lamb and chicken dishes. If you need to eat it raw, I would suggest you do it right after a meal, chew it raw and swallow with some red wine.

Great suggestions for insuring that garlic is in one's daily diet.
