Default Capsules - D3 in Omega 3 or MCT?

Does anyone know of any 5,000 iu Vitamin D3 capsules in EPA/DHA or Medium Chain Triglycerides?

I'm not after any in Olive oil.

Thanks

Here's some D3, with other ingredients listed as Medium Chain Triglycerides.

LOL jw8725! I frequent Vitacost and Swansons for most of my supplements, but you're right, Google is usually there for me. Use Ixquick Search engine sometimes, because Google can be nosey, and track ALL you searches via your computer.

50,000iuThese dry powder filled capsules slide apart. It's then possible to drop the fine white powder into whatever oil you choose. If you slightly warmed virgin coconut oil it would go liquid and you could drop in sufficient while powder to ensure each tablespoon or teaspoon contained the desired amount of vitamin d.
Or you could just buy liquid omega 3 add the contents of 4 x 50,000iu = 200,000iu/40= 5000iu per teaspoon.

Hiya Ted I'll PM you in a moment. I've come to the end of my Healthspan Omega 3 Liquid from here

Its been quite a messy affair so I thought I'd just go back to popping a soft gel D3 pill already dissolved in oil. Its quick, easy and I don't need to worry about the meniscus lining up correctly and then washing the utensils afterwards.

Just gone ahead and bought the D3 in MCT from here:

https://www.vitacost.com/Country-Life...ngredientFacts

As per recommended above. Shipping to England on 2 tubs was an incredible $4. Um I'm hope that doesn't mean its donkey mail or something. Actually I'm well chuffed!

Just in case anyone here doesn't yet understand the importance of Vitamin d3 in EFFECTIVE amounts (equivalent to full body sun exposure) then Nephropal has a post on Vitamin d and Children today
Remember for kids you work it out by weight.
each 25lbs they weigh 1000iu/daily /vitamin d3 + 100iu/daily/d3 for each extra 2.5lbs.

okay an update on this....

My records show that I paid www.vitacost.com on 4th of August and shipping was $4

I also placed an order with www.iherb.com on 12th August and shipping was $12 via DHL

Both items turned up today so $4 shipping to England was 10 days and DHL $12 shipping was an amazing 2 days. 2 days from CA to England is pretty impressive in my book. And the DHL fella even phoned me on the mobile to say he was outside.

As a caveat I must add that email replies I got from www.vitacost.com were down right rude and condescending at times when I inquired about the items I had ordered. I do feel the seller has an obligation to the buyer to ensure items arrive.

I've been caught for Custom duty on orders worth more than 18 so because I'm strict about not going over 18 order value, I tend only to get $4 or at most $6 postage charge from Iherb.
It's not the tax I begrudge so much as the 8 handling charge the Post Office charges me for collecting 3.

I don't know if vitacost do a rewards discount like IHERB do. But if you haven't used IHERB before and you use my $5 discount code WAB666 you get discount and I get a smaller discount, If enough people use the code it means I pay less for my supplements. It's no big deal and I only suggest Iherb where their prices are cheapest but every little helps in these recessionary times.
