Default Silica

I was looking up some of the minerals in some natural water and one of the listed ingredients was silica. Has anyone ever taken this as a supplement?

Absolutely. Its a very important supplemet for bone matrix as well as are cartalege tissues, as well as hair, skin and nails. I have used Jarrow liquid supplement that comes in a dropper bottle and Flora Vegetal Silica https://www.iherb.com/Flora-Vegetal-Silica-180-Capsules/3062?utm_source=gb&utm_medium=f3&at=0 with Horsetail as its source.

Default Horsetail

That is interesting that you said source was horse tail as there are horses on this property and they drink continually from this source.

Do you mind sending me the link to information on this?

Can I also ask you about some other items found in this water? Like
sodium chloride
sodium phosphate
sodium bromide
sodium iodide
sodium nitrate
sodium bicarbonate (I saw this info)
sodium biborate
potassium sulfate
lithium chloride
calcium sulfate
calcium bicarbonate
magnesium sulfate
magnesium chloride
iron bicarbonate
alumina

These were the main ones. AND if this is too long I will try to find more. The main spring may not have all the above. There are many springs. Seems the animals do very well on the water and county says drinkable.

Arrow means https://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/horsetail-000257.htm an herb. It contains silica. I prefer other sources, such as diatomaceous Earth. It is 80% silica and does not contain nicotine as does horsetail.

In that water, I would avoid sodium bromide, which displaces iodine, and sodium nitrate, which is carcinogenic. I'm not sure I would want to drink the alumina either, unless it is only a trace.

The information so far on sodium bromide was that it was the most useful inorganic because it is used for preparation of other bromides in organic synthesis (what ever that means). I will check the amount.

Also after looking up sodium nitrate, it says that it should not be confused with nitrite. The Nitrate kills botulism spores. Nitrate is actually changed to nitrite by bacterial action during processing and storage. Now this is from Wikipedia - my only info so far. I can't find the link about carcinogenic yet.

Now when I typed in alumina in medicine I got something good:

In homeopathy, aluminum is used in medicines that possess the aptitude to facilitate recuperation from dementia (a condition wherein there is an acute impairment of intellectual capacity and personality integration owing to damage to neurons in the brain). In fact, as a homeopathic remedy, alumina possesses several other and very effective therapeutic purposes and is useful in treating several health conditions and associated symptoms. Moreover, alumina is a very safe homeopathic medicine and people using it do not face the risk of its accumulation either in any part of their body or the brain. This is primarily owing to the fact that the homeopathic remedy alumina does not retain even the slightest trace of the mineral aluminum in the curative solution prepared from it.

Here is the link and it includes Alzheimer's and dementia https://www.herbs2000.com/homeopathy/alumina.htm

Now grandmaflorist, you cannot compare homeopathic alumina to organic alumina in mineral form. This would take a complex study of homeopathy to understand and I can provide links for that if you are inclined to learn... but alumina in the gross form, as found in your water, even though in very small amounts cannot compare to alumina in homeopathy. The general rule in homeopathy is that what causes a disease in gross form will cure the diesease in homeopathic form. So alumina in gross form causes dementia, as well as a few other significant disesases, but in homeopathic form it may cure dimentia..(and I say may, not always will, as yet it still remains more complex picking the correct remedy for dimentia in homeopathy) Take my word for it. I am well trained in homeopathy. So do not use this paragraph on alumina you have posted to justify taking alumina in molecular (or gross or measurable) form.

um, horsetail is an herb. I don't recommend taking horse mane as a supplement. See the link in my previous post.

and jfh, when the herb is correctly processed the nicotine is not an issue... such as you find in flora and alta horsetail supplements.

Oh this has opened so many questions. What made homeopathy decide what hurt someone one way could be used to help in another form of the same?

I am a little different in my thinking and have used the Bible to figure out things. I believe we are made in God's image (not God or not God's just made in His image like the Bible says) from dirt (plants live in dirt) Man's body does not do well putting man made things in it. Sort of like putting a silk eucalyptus plant down in dirt and expecting it to grow. No healing will develop. Although plants live in dirt, it also takes nutrients from nature on the dirt to flourish.

Let me give this thought to see how homeopathic ties into this.

No. No. on sodium nitrate.

One of the most powerful cancer-promoting food ingredients of all is called sodium nitrate.

Consumption of processed meats has been linked to cancer (colon, breast, prostate and pancreas). The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for sodium nitrate states that ingestion in the pure form could cause gastroenteritis and abdominal pains. Other symptoms may include dizziness, bloody diarrhea, convulsions, and collapse; and chronic exposure can cause methemoglobinemia. This happens in some individuals when bacteria in the stomach convert the nitrate to nitrite. Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, irregular breathing, convulsions, coma, and death can occur should this conversion take place. If you truly don't want to give up your bacon, salami or whatever there is a way to fight the harm that sodium nitrate can inflict on your body. You have to consume large doses of vitamins C and E before you eat something with sodium nitrate in it. These wonderful vitamins inhibit the conversion of sodium nitrate to the carcinogenic form, nitrosamines.

The true cause of the heightened cancer risk is the widespread use of a carcinogenic precursor ingredient known as sodium nitrite by food processing companies, says nutritionist Mike Adams, author of the just-published Grocery Warning manual at: https://www.truthpublishing.com/GroceryWarning.html

Bromide or bromate in any form displaces iodine in the thyroid. The thyroid cannot tell the difference. They are both halogens. Bakers started using bromate in the form of potassium bromate, because some phobic doctors were putting iodine down. Now, the USA is iodine deficient, and you can tell it by most of our symptoms. As recently as 2007, Queensland, Australia replaced bromates with iodine. I say good for them.

Potassium bromate is banned for use in foods in the EU, China and many other countries. It is known to cause cancer in animals. The International Agency for Research on Cancer considers it a possible human carcinogen.

There are a couple of bread makers that actually have "NO BROMATES" on their labels.

hard to find something more tasty than bacon, but I will soak the raw bacon in water for a minute to remove some nitrites before cooking.

Grandma, if you want to use God as an analogy, consider this... God is of the purest and highest vibrational quality... as all living things are for their own specific form in their natural state.

In homeopathy the vibrational quality of the substance is extracted from the source of what ever is used, either plant, mineral or whatever. All things have a vibrational quality. It is this that is its medicine. On a gross level things can be chopped apart and the parts discovered like vitamins, phytonutrients, protiens, oils, minerals in various ionic states, etc etc. Yet the totality of the substance is more that the individual parts and will have an influence on its surroundings, especially when ingested.

These links will describe how a homeopathic preparation is made. I had to write this paper for my class. I recieved an A+.. Don't know if the links in the articles still work.. but they are not that relevant to what you are trying to figure out. In my estimation homeoapthy shifts the energetic field of the body to align with the vibrational quality of the medicine and this is what does the healing, although my paper does not get into such esoteric reflections. A few plant medicines work homeopathically without this preparation and chamomile is one such plant.... yet when chamomile is made into a homeopathic preparation it can cure what plain chamomile cannot, at a very deep level, it can even alter the psyche and physical body into healing. These artilces explain the history and how homeopathy was developed as well as exactly how the remedies are made. It is the prefered medicine of the royal family in England... as well as mine.

Default Great article

I too believe instead of trying to treat the disease, one should find what to give the body to allow it to heal itself or give it what will rid the body of what should not be there as well.

My husband and I finally told the doctors in ICU to leave our daughter alone and allow her body to heal itself. While she was asleep for five weeks, we kept cleaning her mouth with emprizone and rub more Firm on the outside than most people have in a lifetime.

We stopped all CT's, we stopped the lung flush or whatever they call it after one, we took our leg and shook the bed until the nurse brought in one that did it for us, and we kept anyone from speaking anything negative while in the room. I sang hymns - her daddy told stories - and one nurse was rough with her while pulling the fluid up out of her lungs and he told her to never step foot in the room again.

They ran so many blood gases that right now she says it was not good for her. I am not sure what she means - but we probably should have tried to stop them from doing that so much as well.

Great news today - the bad teeth are removed and she called saying she feels so much better. She will now call and try to get the first surgeon to take out the feeding tube.
