Default Supplements-Has this ever happened to you?

I started on some new brand of supplements, calcium, multi vitamin and ayurvedic medicine for blood pressure and a few other ayurvedic medicines for other issues. When I started taking these I started using the bathroom around 7-8 times a day, I usually only go 2-3 times a day. (bowels) I stopped taking anything for a few days and I went back to normal. Does supplements effect you this way and is it safe to keep taking? Thanks

Ayurvedica: If you were taking a supplement called triphala, that could be the reason.

Triphala is a laxative, you will be fine, lay off the triphala though.
