I wish I was rich. Especially around Christmas. I'm all spent out on great-nieces and great-nephews. All i want for Christmas is a Brown Betty. I think it will have to wait until January. https://www.englishteastore.com/brown...pot-6-cup.html

Question

Jim, what about ordering later in December - then the charge card bill won't come in until January. Too good a deal to pass up!

You are right. I could easily use credit, but I really like to pay off my credit card at statement time. Now that I'm getting my first Social Security checks, I feel that I can be more free with my money. But I'm such a frugal person by nature, that I hate to have any kind of high credit outstanding.

Earlybird, I hope you are not snowed under. Some of this blizzard mess it just awful. Central Texas is in very good shape. No problem here. Happy holidays to you.

Exclamation

Jim - Only 4 inches of snow here in my part of Ky. It's the darned temps - 13* high for today - that
are so bad. Could be worse I guess - like upper Midwest. But the 4 in closed schools & canceled
lots of Sunday church services & activities.
BTW, I also hate debts & pay off my charge cards in full each month. Discover Card allows me to accumulate
bonus points & use the money to go toward my credit card balance. Visa doesn't. Visa allows me to only
apply the bonus points to pay off a loan, so they just took off $100.00 from my mortgage amount as I
have no other loans.
