Default Diuretic herbs

I didnt want to mess up the MMS thread, but I did want to answer Xania's question about the herbs I am taking... The diuretic herbs that I am taking are Burdock, butcher's broom and Salvia.. taking some more, but they arent diurectics..
I am taking these, because my feet have been swelling up really really bad. I have been having swelling for along time, but what I thought was just actually fat, apparently was swelling, because now there is a really big big difference. My daughter decided it was time for me to do something about my feet problems, when she found out that I was having to use a cane in the middle of the night, and first thing in the morning... The pain in my feet was so bad, I could barely walk for about the first five minutes or so after I would get up.

Gerry you said:

If it's a diuretic, won't you gain back those pounds when you start drinking water?

Well, some of us do hold excess water in our bodies, associated with excess salt. And drinking lots of water for diuresis can take out the excess salt and the water that goes along with it. It does sound paradoxical that drinking more water will remove excess water, but in such cases, the real problem is salt that keeps the water in our bodies.

Gerry
I have been drinking alot of water. Have backed off coffee alot..(winter is coming tho, I love my coffee in the winter) And had stopped drinking the diet coke, until I had a downfall the last two nights (stupid me I know better!) So, am probably drinking at least a gallon a day.. although if you follow the lines of the watercure thing, thats no way near enough for my weight. I am not a salt person, I dont salt my food normally, there are a few minor things, but for the most part, dont eat alot of salt. Now, I have noticed, that when I eat bread or bread products, my feet swell up, so its something in these products, just not sure what it would be... I wonder if food allergies would cause you to hold the water in your body like that????
If I can figure out how to post a picture again, I will post a picture of me at my sons wedding, which shows the swelling really really bad... I guess I didnt really realize how bad a problem I had, until I saw the pictures

These pictures are from april of this year.... also noticed today, that my wrist were apparently swollen back then too... Look at my feet, can you see how swollen they are. The shoes I wore, were a size bigger then what I use to wear, and they felt tight!!! all this time, I thought it was just fat... I think I resized these right... if not, I will try it again

Default Diuretics!

Great pictures, Lady
Yes, your feet do look quite swollen.
Drinking dried parsley tea is also a natural diuretic.

However, when using diuretics of any kind, be sure
to take potassium and magnesium, to replace what
you lose thru frequent urination.
Eating bananas or/and those small fuzzy green fruits
[I can never remember the name] will also help replace
potassium.

Asparagus is a diuretic. I eat a whole bundle raw each week in my salad.

Im here... checking in!!! My computer has been on the fritz for the past few days, my ram went out??? ( I know nothing about computers!)
Ummm Im doing ok... took the mms at night, so Im not feeling any effects, other then the fact that Im really really tired. Now, I did notice, that the first night after I took the mms at nite, I didnt have any problems with my feet when I got up in the middle of the nite, I was able to walk pain free (which was surprising) I forgot to take the mms last nite, and I did have pain... so we shall see.... I just got done taking my one drop, and fixing to go to bed....

The herbs have done a good job, my feet arent swollen, and my fingers dont seem to be either. I am doing the ozone treatments once a week, and enjoying her company while Im at it!!! So, for now everything is a go. Someone had mentioned an energy spurt, so Im kinda really hoping to see that soon....
Fall is finally coming our way, Has only been in the lo eightys this week, and alot cooler at night... Saving on my a/c bill makes me very happy!!!! Hope everyone has a great week.... Iggy, I love asparagus.... saw a recipe for deep fried asparagus, wonder how that would taste with coconut oil

Default Asparagus!

I'd forgotten about asparagus being diuretic.

I love the stuff, but don't think I could eat it totally raw.
I'd want it at least lightly steamed. Steaming veggies is more
likely to keep the natural color, the nutrients and enzymes.

Glad the MMS is working for you, JMe.
Heat here still in low 90's and a real bummer! Promises
of today being the last of it; surely hope so.
