Question Blank spots in vision

Hi,
Over the past few years I have been having these 'blank' splotches in my vision. Like, all of a suddon I will have a 'black' or gray/blue area sometimes covering over half my vision. Sometimes just a small spot.

It has scared me quite a few time (wondering if it will stay this time, if I will be able to see again) especially when it happens while I am driving! I have had to miss a few appointments because of it.

I got my eyes checked out a few months ago and was told they look fine.

I have had silent migrains and white 'sparks' through my vision for as long as I can remember (I am 20).

Any ideas?

Areas of spots, like floaters, seen in your peripheral vision, when short term and followed by dizziness, is a sign of dehydration.
