It's worth making the effort to understand what they were actually doing.

This Is Your Brain On Sugar: Study in Rats Shows High-Fructose Diet Sabotages Learning, Memory

Don't forget that the power of omega 3 to resolve inflammation is relative to the intake of omega 6 from seed/grain oils. If you've got 20~30 hooligans throwing petrol on a fire and only one firefighter the hooligans will succeed. If your diet is providing 20times the amount of omega 6 veggie oils (Corn/Soy/sunflower etc) then just adding a bit of omega 3 isn't going to solve the problem. You've got to stop all sources of dietary inflammation if you want to see the benefit from omega 3 intake in mitigating the effects of excessive fructose intake.

Also remember Vitamin D needs to be at 50ng/ml 125nmol/l to fully achieve it's anti inflammatory effect and it requires MAGNESIUM to convert from plasma form to active form. (most people will not be getting Magnesium RDA)
