Today is day 6 for me. (Getting the flu insured days 1-3 without cigs. No problem). I even went out last night for a few drinks and I was desiring a smoke, but fought the urge.

Quitting smoking is never a bad move. Besides all the toxic chemicals, tobacco is full of fungus, and fungus is something you don't want in your body, for it will eat you from the inside out..

My cousin promotes e-cigarettes, I guess they are good if they help you quit. However, they still contain nicotine in them, so what good is it doing for you?

I think it may just be a good stepping stone in the path of quitting for some people, a step above a nicotine patch. A BIG part of smoking addiction is the physical habit itself, having the cigarette in hand. If they do anything good for the smoker, it's getting them away from all the other toxic, cancer causing ingredients in cigarettes. Here's a list I came across:
