Default Research for COPD

This research report is very interesting and it's nice to see someone taking interest in treatment for COPD for a change. It involves stem cells, and I don't understand that very well, but I don't think it requires unborn babies stem cells now. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm sleepy so read the report with one eye open!

nightowl & others interested
in treatments for COPD,as well
as for other conditions,

You may be interested in the following regarding a unique nutritional supplement which has been around for awhile but which has not received much attention lately. I first read about it in a hard copy issue of the Health Sciences Institute (HSI) newsletter, to which I have long subscribed, a few years ago, and recently came across it again while researching treatments for liver cancer. However, I immediately thought of you, nightowl, when one particular phrase in a testimonial caught my eye. I'll post the appropriate Links below so you and others interested in the topic, as well as in the treatment of other conditions, can read all about it for yourselves.

This is the quote which is from the second heading (at the first Link below) entitled, One Response to "Chemo Patients Report Fewer Side-Effects with Del-Immune V Supplements", posted by Thomas Clarke,(July 22nd, 2010 at 2:05 pm):

"When my wife was treated for subcutaneous abcess via incision and drainage, clindamycin hcl 150 mg oral caps was prescribed to prevent infection. She had pre-developed gout, which was treated with colchicine 0.6 mg oral cap. After consuming both drugs for one day, she developed diarrhea. I stopped both drugs and turned to Del-Immune V. I gave her 4 caps twice daily for 3 days. The runs ceased and the gout was stopped in the 3 days. It strengthened my understanding that Del Immune V did the job that Pure Research said it could do, as I have relied on it in the past to help with my COPD and other medical conditions, and this product has never let me down" [emphasis added].

Note that the first section of the page reports on the successful use of the product in the post surgery recovery phase following surgery for the often difficult to treat ovarian cancer!

Something to be aware of is this; as you will read elsewhere on the Pure Research Products/Del-Immune V website, the highly respected Allergy Research Group (ARG), which produces products under that label name and also under the Nutricology label, lost a court case to the producers of Del-Immune V, as ARG had maintained that their Russian Choice Immune was the same as the original Russian product. Net result, there is a difference between Del-Immune V and ARG's Russian Choice Immune, at least according to Pure Research Products, U.S. manufacturer of Del-Immune V, and that court decision which found in favor of Pure Research Products and Del-Immune V. For details click on the title, Del-Immune V v. Russian Choice Immune at:

Following are other useful Links about the product:

For interesting and educational testimonials, be sure to read those entitled

Note that among the testimonials, a close reading reveals that the product reportedly produced a relatively fast cure for a condition that for many is a very stubborn infection which is difficult to eliminate - the often frustrating chronic foot fungus, also known as Athlete's Foot! In the reported case (The energy boost is not artificial....) the fungal infection involved both feet and both ankles.

For pet owners there are 3 testimonials; 2 for poodles and 1 for a 19 year old cat named "Baggie" (identified in the title as "Baggy the Cat").

For most of the above Links, note that on the page which the Link produces there are other useful Links on the page, at the top of the page (double tool bar) and for some of the pages on the right hand side of the page as well.

If interested in purchasing the product I would suggest you do an internet SEARCH of sites such as vitacost.com, swansonvitamins.com, iherb.com, vitaminshoppe.com, etc. to obtain the best possible deal, including price for shipping and handliing. However, for those who may wish to purchase direct from the U.S. manufacturer, Pure Research Products, the Link is:

Good luck to all.

Thanks Beach Man. I'll look into this a bit. Sounds like it's basically a potent probiotic, but interesting.
