Default Green Tea, Vit C, & Walking

I have been successfully losing weight for a couple of years. A few days ago I was alarmed to discover that I had gained 5#. I've long drank a large amount of green tea flavored with ascorbic acid. I had to suspend the Vit C intake for a while because it interfered with a medication. I was off the green tea and Vit C for about 2 months. It occurred to me that the weight gain may have been due to being off the green tea. Green tea extract is a common weight loss supplement. About 3 days ago I got back on my old green tea/Vit C routine. Yesterday was a nice day so I decided to walk further than my normal 3 miles. I set a new personal record...10.2 miles. After the walk, I had lost 4.5 of the 5#. Now, I know that 4.5# was mostly water, but it made me happy.

I've taken a LOT of green tea for a couple of years. It doesn't help my weight any, as I didn't gain any when I went off of it for a couple of months when I was having heart palpitation issues, which turned out to be nothing.
