Default I DECLARE JIHAD ON PREFAB FOODS

I had to take my mom to the grocery store this morning and I was walking around and saw a new product: HEART HEALTHY BISQUICK! I looked at the contents and compared them to the regular one. BOTH have bleached white flour, aluminum based raising agents. The only difference was the heart healthy one had canola oil as opposed to the trans fat one in regular bisquick.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE STUPIDITY OF THE AVERAGE AMERICAN!

It's amazing how deceptive labels can be, especially on processed foods. Unfortunately, many times the elderly buy into it, because they already are under a doctor's care, and just looking for ways to do the 'right thing'.

Its all about money. Almost all brands are economical with the truth. Nothing new bud.

Yeah, and soon we're to have the NEW Frankenfish Salmon!
I haven't bought Any seafood from Kroger's Seafood Deli in months, except for crab cakes.
Almost everything is farm-raised which I won't buy.

Krogers fucking blows! Way tooooooo expensive and lower quality! Their seafood (in Eastern ohio at least) looks plain bad.

How much do you want to bet that some law will be made where they do not have to label GMO salmon with a GMO label???????????

Seafood in Ohio? You'd have to have very, very long fishing rods. :}

Hey, they get it in chicago and minneapolis. Kroger's supplies junk. We will not even discuss all the chinese seafood that wallmart gets.

Even Chicago and Minn. are pretty far from the sea - for seafood. It can't be very fresh. I think that may be one reason that I don't like seafood. When we left Hawaii, we moved back with grandmother in SC, but as far west in SC as we could be. No access to fresh seafood. I was too young to remember the seafood in Hawaii 1950s. Well, that's my excuse anyway.

For whatever reason, fish from cold water (sea water or fresh water) is much better than fish from warm waters.
