Default Bee Hive Products

Some say the products from the bee hive can help strengthen and heal the human body and others say there is little evidence and if allergic to bees can harm/kill you.

Royal Jelly
Honey
Bee Pollen
Propolis

I know if you are allergic to bees, don't use, but if you are not...I have used honey on and off for years, love the taste!! and if you get a extra benefit from it having some type of food value, that should not be bad and maybe good, the people behind Royal jelly say it does good things....I am asking for personal experience, objective thought/advice and what people know about these products.
Thanks

I've only had personal experience with honey and royal jelly. I like the unfiltered honey, and use it mainly in hot herbal or regular teas in winter, and by the spoonful for soothing a sore throat. Manuka honey was very tasty. As we already discussed, I like the royal jelly for natural energy.

I truly believe that there are great benefits when using bee products whether it's honey, royal jelly, propolis or pollen. I think of it as a superfood with nutritional value. There's so many illnesses and conditions that they help.

I didn't know about the negative effects for people with asthma, so I would think for myself, since I'm not allergic to bees or bee products, and I don't have asthma, only positive benefits are left in using this natural food.

True...
Just looking for firsthand knowledge...
I started using some pure Royal Jelly, it has kinda a sharp taste, not yummy like honey, I am going to get some honey and mix the two and eat it straight, maybe put it in my coffee too.
Thanks for the help!

Honey and Propolis are good and you will dirive a benefit from them. The Royal Jelly and Bee Pollen are not good in spite of the hype.

What do you base your statement about royal jelly and pollen on?

How do you perform your "energy test"? My husband, myself and a friend have all felt excellent results with Royal Jelly regarding natural energy, and have used it over an extended period of time. I'd say my testing had 100% positive results. Please share your method, and form and quantity of Royal Jelly used. We used 1/2 tsp. out of the jar.

Sorry I have to correct myself. Of the four, Honey is the only good one. The other tree have no benefit..
To energy test I simply look at the product or look at the word and use kinesiology to test. Works very well for me.
Just like fish swim in water we all swim in a sea of information. Our sub-concious minds will always tell us the truth.

Default My thoughts on bee products

Hello everybody,

For the sake of establishing from where I reference my opinion, I'll state the following. I have worked in health food stores for over 13 years, as a nutritionist for about 6 years. I've used all forms of bee products (propolis, pollen, royal jelly, and honey) in what are regarded very high quality brands. My favorite line of bee products is Y.S. Organic Bee Farms. Absolutely the most pleasant tasting and effective products I've used.

That being said, I feel very strongly that high quality bee products are very effective for maintaining health and for stimulating a healing response. I have used bee products effectively for energy (physical and mental), and in working out as a way to maintain and increase muscle size and performance. I also get an overall feeling of well-being from taking bee pollen, honey, and propolis.

I don't use royal jelly as often although I feel that it is an effective product. For me, I find royal jelly to have a distinctly feminine feel to it. I'm not averse to that, I simply prefer bee pollen which, for me, feels more balanced for my metabolism.

I have asked many people their opinions over the years and most folks report good results. The anecdotal stories and my personal experiences have given me confidence in recommending it as an option in a supplement regimen.

I want to offer my love, respect, and gratitude to the flowers that produce pollen and to the bees that gather it. Those are both wonderful gifts. Thanks, flowers. Thanks, bees. You rock.

I hope you have a great day. May harmony fill your heart.

Don't knock kinesiology if you don't understand it. It really does work.
Those of you who think propolis, pollen, and royal jelly are helpful to us are probably experiencing the placebo effect. That and successful marketing boards.
You can prove it to yourself. I will give you a basic course in kinesiology.
There are many ways to test but the simplest one to learn is called the sway test...
Stand comfortably hands at sides
Close your eyes
When you make a positive or congruent statement your body will sway forward after a second or two. (or several seconds)
When you make a negative or false statement your body will sway backward after a second or two. (or more)
OK thats all now on to do the test....
Say unconditional love and your body should sway forward.
Say war or hate and your body should sway backward.
Say my name is blank (your real name) and your body should sway forward.
Say my name is Hillary or other false name of your choice and your body will sway backward.
Now you know how to do it.
Ask is honey good...you will sway forward
Ask is propolis good...you will sway backward
Ask is bee pollen good .... you will sway backward
Ask is royal jelly good...you will sway backward.
Ask are bananas good...you will sway backward

The sway test is just the entry level test. There is many other ways to test but you can do a search for them.

Now stop rolling your eyes when somebody tells you a product is no good.

The reason it works is that just like fish swim in water we swim in a sea of information. Your subconscious knows all this information and will impart it to you if you let it.

If I go into a health food store looking for a particular supplement and there are several different brands I can tell in seconds which one is the right one just by looking at them and doing my test.
Not only that if I am looking at a health food magazine and see all the ads I can tell just by looking at the ad if that product is good.

With all the marketing hype and claims of efficacy in all the hundreds of supplements and products out there you need a way to separate the wheat from the chaff.

The path I have started you on here will do that.
