Default Antioxidants in Dietary Plants

Hi All,

I just ran across a paper from the University of Oslo which lists antioxidant concentrations they found in various plants. It contains 8 Tables with their data listed. I thought it was very interesting. Wondered if anyone would also like see it. Looks like 'Dog Rose', whatever that is, is the leader.

A Systematic Screening of Total Antioxidants in Dietary Plants

Hi EarlyBird,

With the document displayed in Adobe Reader, try pressing at the same time the key combination of "Ctrl 1" or "Ctrl 2" (without the quotes) and see if that helps. Or, you could use the zoom control which is located on the tool bar. It is a small box with a percentage number in it, and it has a minus button on the left and a plus button on the right. You can enter any percent of magnification from 1% to 6400%. If the Zoom toolbar is not showing right-click on any toolbar and click on the Zoom selection. Let us know if this doesn't help.

Excellent info ! Thank you.

And I am sure the humor was unintentional, but I did laugh when I read how "in recent years" the link between food and disease is being realized !

Not ! Many used to say the disease began in the colon. Dr. A. Stuart Wheelwright, ND said for years that disease began with what one put on one's plate. All those kids on Ritalin and more due to all the sugar, chemicals and trans fats they eat. Their bodies have no clue what to do with that, so they are actually malnourished.
