Don't forget the VITAMIN D3 as well. 5000iu/daily minimum for someone with Alzheimer's probably more may be needed to keep 25(OH)D above 55ng.
Consider also CoQ10 omega 3 2g daily. Resveratrol may also be useful but it's what you take out of the diet that is as important as what goes in extra. Refined flours starchy veggies and sugar and HFCS together with omega 6 industrially made vegetable oils, corn soy safflower and sunflower oil and everything that contains them must be eliminated.

I was recently reading an article that said soybean oil wrecks havoc on ones arteries. The only oils I trust are olive oil , butter and walnut oil. Canola oil has major issues, not good at all.

I think coconut oil and MCT are probably fine. I use a lot of both.

Great articles and comments here.

A while back my brain was not working so good and I can really notice when it comes to typing and remembering people's names. The cure for me is lecithin. When I supplement with that for a month or so I'm good to go for a long time. My typing tells me when I'm going to long without it.

My mistake, coconut oil also. I am now curious as to why indians have low alzheimer rates. Is it theturmeric or the cocounut fat in the curries?
