Smile I'm the newbie!

Hi, I'm Liz. I'm 22 y/o. I currently suffer from Chronic Back and neck pain, bipolar, slight thyroid issues, and I'm technically a bit overweight for my height. I want to find good, alternative ways to heal myself of my ailments and overall health. Can't wait to meet everybody here and get talking!

Welcome to the forum.

You have some issues for being only 22. Back pain and neck pain, unless you've been in some sort of accident, tells me you are most likely deficient in minerals. There are 60 minerals that the body needs, and they work in a synergistic manner, so it is important to get them all.

Bipolar is most likely caused by vitamin/mineral/amino acid/fatty acid deficiency.

Being overweight is due to eating more and exercising less, and by high fructose corn syrup, which is used to sweeten everything from processed food/fast food to soda pop. Also too much sugar, and artificial sweeteners.

I would suggest finding a good doctor, one who will work with you rather than just put you on drugs.

Well, appreciate the advice, but I'm not new to any of this. I've been living with my back for 5 years now, been to every doctor I can afford to the extend of everything but surgery (doctors do not believe I need it, and not many believe I'm in the pain I am in for how young I am). Been living with the bipolar for 8 years and am trying medication again after 6 or 7 years. And I'm new to the thyroid issue, but I'm medicated for that also. I just like to find more natural answers to feeling better rather than taking many pills.

Oh and that was a geuine thank you, and I for some reason didn't absorb the "find the a doctor that will work with you INSTEAD of putting you on medications" thing.. Hard to find around here, and very pricey, but once I find a decent paying job that's definitely my plan!
